“माधव के आशीर्वाद से हर चुनौती आसान हो गई।”
There are places where the air itself feels charged with divinity, where every sound carries a story, and every gesture becomes a prayer. My August journey to Somnath led me to one such sacred corner – Bhalka Tirth in Gujarat, the site where Lord Krishna is believed to have departed from his earthly form after being struck by a hunter’s arrow.
As I stepped into the temple precincts, a group of women were singing a bhajan. Their voices rose and fell like waves, melodious and soothing, wrapping the space in devotion. It felt as though time had slowed, allowing me to simply breathe in the rhythm of faith.
A family, noticing me alone, offered to click pictures. Their warmth reminded me that pilgrimage is about gods and shrines but also about the kindness of strangers, the smiles, the small gestures that make journeys memorable.
Standing there, I thought of Krishna’s final act at Bhalka Tirth – not as an end, but as a reminder of surrender, of letting go when the time comes. The bhajans, the laughter of children running around, the hospitality – all of it spoke of continuity, of life flowing on.
In that moment, I felt the truth of the words: माधव के आशीर्वाद से हर चुनौती आसान हो गई। With His grace, even the hardest paths soften, even the heaviest burdens lighten.
Somnath gave me grandeur, but Bhalka Tirth gave me intimacy – a whisper of faith, a melody of surrender, and a smile that will echo in memory for years to come.
